Job Details
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a customer-focused service for Disabled Facilities Grants; including being the first point of contact for all grant enquiries, ensuring all information is accurately recorded in the database, processing all payments and invoices in accordance with the Council's procedures, and recording and responding to requests regarding land charges.
You will also be responsible for requesting and processing reports and referrals for adaptations and working closely with partners and stakeholders.
The post holder will require skills and experience necessary to provide advice and guidance to advise on Disabled Facilities Grants. You will need to be self motivated, organised and committed to deliver an exceptional customer focused service with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
We are looking for an individual who is able to work both autonomously and as part of a team. You should posses excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret legislation. The successful applicant should also possess the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
This is a temporary, fixed term position for a period of 2 years.
