Two positions have become available within the Property Services division for Planning Supervisors based within the Repairs team.

We are committed to delivering an excellent standard of repairs to all of our customers. An essential part of this service is to deliver repairs “right first time” and to ensure we meet our customer expectations with appointments and target timescales.

Applicants should be experienced in a repairs and maintenance environment and have experience in repairs scheduling and resource planning, using a dynamic scheduling system such as DRS, they must be committed to providing excellent customer service.

This demanding role involves working in a fast-paced environment and having the ability to work to tight deadlines. Team working and cross divisional working is an essential part of the Planning Supervisor role, liaising with tenants, Homes Direct, Property Supervisors and Trade colleagues to deliver an excellent customer service.

The successful candidates must be:
 

  • experienced in working within a repairs environment and using repairs systems
  • experienced in providing excellent customer service
  • highly organised and able to prioritise work with competing timescales
  • confident with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • able to work to targets and deadlines
  • a good team player
  • able to work on a rota basis to cover hours of operation
  • enthusiastic and open to new ways of working

To co-ordinate and schedule responsive and void repairs to the appropriate operatives or contractor(s)ensuring maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.To identify any resource shortages or conflicts & reschedule activities to meet targets and performance standards.Monitor work progress & reallocate as necessary to meet appointment times, targets & performance standards.Reallocate or reschedulework to cover unanticipated absences or resource shortages.Schedule work requiring special materials or skills to match anticipated delivery/ availability dates.Continually review and develop the dynamic resource scheduling systems to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and customer service.
