As the IT Services Manager, you will provide professional leadership to a team of IT technicians and have a passion for technology. Utilising your extensive IT experience, you will ideally have experience of undertaking and managing deployments of technology.

* Promote innovation in IT, by keeping up to date with the most recent technologies and advising how new solutions can support the teaching and learning needs of schools across the Multi-Academy.
* Develop standard operating procedures and ensure that guidelines are provided for staff and all end-users.
* Support individual schools in the development of their IT plans, that support and enhance teaching and learning.

* Lead on the procurement, commissioning and configuration of IT systems, networks and equipment, including hardware and software across the Multi-Academy.
* Manage any out-sourced IT contracts to ensure value for money.

IT Estate:

* Responsible for ensuring that all IT systems within the estate are reliable, consistent and fit for purpose.
* Ensure that interruptions to the availability of the IT environment as a result of incidents or planned maintenance are minimised through a proactive and comprehensive focus on prevention rather than cure.
* Responsible for ensuring that robust system and data back up procedures are in place across the Multi-Academy and are tested regularly through the Quality Assurance process.
* Ensure that all systems adhere to GDPR principles.
* Maintain an accurate and up-to-date hardware asset register which can be used by Executive Team to inform annual budget.
* Monitor the implementation of policies and procedures relating to IT, especially around safety and safeguarding.
* Responsibility for the technical management of the Multi-Academy websites.

* Build close working relationships with senior leaders across the Multi-Academy and facilitate regular IT surveys to enable appropriate training and support to be put in place.
* Be the Multi-Academy Champion and Expert in relation to new developments in IT and surrounding legislation.
* Lead on organising and facilitating training across the Multi-Academy, ensuring that feedback from schools and other end users is taken into consideration.
* Champion cloud-based solutions and create effective training plans to increase usability.
