This is an exciting time in the life of Erdington Academy. From September 2016 we officially became an academy within the Fairfax Multi Academy Trust, which includes four secondary schools. This further enables the academy to share and develop practice as part of a wider group of academies and partners.

Our students are benefiting from a first-class programme which promotes depth of understanding and problem solving.

A new rich and innovative syllabus is underpinned by excellent teaching and weekly professional development for our staff.

We are now looking to appoint the following permanent position to start as soon as possible:

Cover Administrator

Full time - Permanent

20,903 to £22,183 FTE

37 hours per week, Term-time only

Working Hours: - Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 3.00pm and Friday 7.00am - 2.30pm, with a half an hour lunch break

The post is to ensure that the Cover Supervisors are used to their full capacity and that appropriate cover arrangements are made for absent teachers. The post holder will be required to cover lessons themselves too. The successful applicant will support with the administration of the academy’s Educational Visits procedures and support the academy’s

administration team on a daily basis.
