Apprentice Teaching Assistant – Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship Standard

Based at Clayton Hall Academy part of United Endeavour Trust

37hrs per week – £4.30 per hour (rising to £4.81 per hour from 1st April)

18 Month Contract - Required February/March 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual looking to take their first step into a possible career in education. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join the SEND team at Clayton Hall Academy. All of our students have differing levels of ability and support requirements. This is an opportunity for you to support small groups of students.

You will work under the guidance of the SEND Lead and/or Class Teacher, to provide support in addressing the needs of pupils who require help to overcome barriers to learning. You will support students’ access to learning using appropriate strategies and resources and provide the support that the SEN team give towards literacy and numeracy in the academy.

There may be the opportunity to support an extra-curricular club or activity or a breakfast/lunch club. During your employment with us you will also attend college once a week studying a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship Standard.

GCSE Mathematics and English are essential qualifications for this role.
