Vacancy: ICT Technician

Place: Ormiston Forge Academy, Wrights Lane, Cradley Heath, West Midlands. B64 6QU. 

Hours: 37 hours per week/52 weeks per year

Salary:  £18,562-£19,312 (Grade 2)

Contract Type: Permanent (subject to 6 month probationary period)

Job start: as soon as possible upon completion of employment checks

We are looking to appoint an experienced ICT Technician who is motivated and passionate about IT infrastructure. The postholder must have the technical knowledge along with a proactive mindset to work with the Network Manager and ICT team to ensure that a safe and encouraging environment is maintained in all teaching areas where ICT is in use. The postholder will provide a comprehensive and effective technical support service to students and all staff (teaching and support) at the academy.

Qualifications required: 

  • Relevant ICT level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • to be considered for the post you must have achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade A to C or Grade 4 or above passes in maths and English (or equivalent)
