Job Details

SIPS Music and Arts Service are looking to recruit an experienced Business Support Assistant who will be responsible for supporting all administrative aspects of the Music and Arts Service, ensuring an efficient and effective operational service on a daily basis. This post is a great opportunity for the right person to join a  highly motivated, dedicated, friendly and successful team of teachers and educational support staff. The role will also be part of a wider business support team across SIPS as a whole.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of clients, colleagues, partnership organisations and children/parents
  • Extensive experience of working in a fast paced, customer focused environment, and a good working knowledge and experience of using IT systems including Microsoft Office packages (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) and Zoom
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Experience in data input and data protection awareness
  • An interest in music in education, the community and young people would be an advantage
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
