An exciting opportunity has arisen for HR Professionals to join City of Wolverhampton Council’s HR service, which is going through some exciting changes which will be supported by a new structure in Summer 2022.

We are seeking two experienced HR Advisors to join the HR Advice team supporting the HR Business Partners to provide high-quality services to our customers as follows:.

  • Generalist HRA x 1
  • Schools Support HRA x1 (which requires experience of Education and Schools context)

You will be entering a fast-paced environment and will provide expert advice and guidance on a range of generic HR issues including, discipline, grievance, and attendance matters, terms and conditions of employment, recruitment and restructures and TUPE.

You will manage a diverse work programme of complex cases, build and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders and support the delivery of HR transformation projects.

To be considered for these  positions, you will be an Associate Member or above of  CIPD, with relevant professional qualifications and experience.  You should have a sound knowledge of employment law and a proven ability to provide robust advice and HR solutions. You will have a strong commitment to service delivery and the skills and expertise to support the service with its exciting plans for improvement and change.
