Care Home Contract Officer - Commercial Team, Corporate Directorate
Salary: £20,903 - £23,541 per annum (pro rata)
22.5 Hours per week – Permanent
These hours will be split over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
Staffordshire County Council’s Commercial Team is supporting the Council to select, award and manage contracts for the supply of goods, services and works.
About the role
Following an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Care Home Contracts Team to support the team in all aspects of Contract Management, including evaluation of new providers wishing to become contracted with the Council for the supply of residential and nursing home services. You will be responsible for creating financial records and resolving a wide range of queries from internal and external sources and therefore excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal will be required.
This Care Home Contract Officer will be part of a hardworking and supportive team and will be expected to work with minimal supervision. Full training and support will be available to the successful candidate.

This role will be working or visiting a CQC registered care home. Anyone working in a CQC-registered care home in England for residents requiring nursing or personal care must have a complete course of an authorised COVID vaccine unless they have a medical exemption. Candidates will be required to show evidence of their vaccination status or medical exemption at interview.
