Year 4 Class Teacher and Science lead

MPS, FT, Maternity cover

Tudor Grange Primary Academy Hockley Heath is looking to appoint a dynamic KS2 teacher to join our school. The start date of 4th April would hopefully allow for some handover with the current year 4 teacher. There will be a science subject leadership responsibility attached to the role and an opportunity to continue with the Maths Mastery training programme that is currently running in years 4 and 5 (with support from the maths lead). Options to change year group and subject area could be considered from September for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be working under the direction of the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to oversee the development of the school as it has recently joined Tudor Grange Academies Trust.

Visits to the school are welcome and prospective applicants can contact Vicky Waterhouse Office Manager via email at s31vwaterhouse@hockley-heath.solihull.sch.uk or by telephoning 01564 783 161 to arrange a viewing.  Sessions to view the school are on: Wednesday 19th January or Thursday 27th January.

Applications are invited from teachers with the ability, passion and commitment to be an outstanding practitioner, enabling all children to succeed.

Application forms should be submitted via the link provided to our website and recruitment portal MyNewTerm

Please note that CVs will not be accepted.

Closing date:      Wednesday 2nd February 2022

Interview date:  Friday 11th February 2022

All applications will be considered on their merit and the post will be offered subject to the usual health and criminal record clearance. The post is subject to Enhanced Disclosure Procedures and a Children’s Barred List check.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment
