St Mary and St Benedict Catholic Primary school are seeking to recruit a nurturing and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team who will help us to celebrate the uniqueness of every child as we guide and support them through their journey of faith and education.

The successful candidate will:

• Be committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of our school

• Be skilled at creating challenge, excitement and enthusiasm

• Be able to demonstrate a strong desire and belief that all children are capable of achieving high standards

• Be able to plan “in the moment” and enhance resources to meet the individual needs of children

• Have a passion for outdoor learning in all weathers and an understanding of how the environment is essential in building the three characteristics of effective learning

• Be able to role model emotional intelligence for both colleagues and children

• Value the acquisition of skills, with the emphasis being on process over outcome

• Have a good sense of humour and have our EYFS children at the heart of everything they do
