Environmental Services Job Opportunities
Environmental Services Place and Core operational teams are two of the most vital and visible teams working for Redditch Borough and Bromsgrove District Councils, providing services to the people of both Towns.
We are looking for suitable candidates to fill the position available below so if you think you can meet the challenge of providing fast, efficient, and quality services then please read on.

Environmental Services currently has a vacancy for the following position:
Environmental Services Operative Level 2
Bromsgrove District Council
Grade 4 (SCP 9 – 14)
£20,903 - £23,080 per annum
Permanent Contract
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week – (any 4- & 5-days working patterns apply from
any 7 days)
The successful candidate will be part of the Cemetery Team working across both Bromsgrove and Redditch Council’s cemetery sites and will need to have a full UK driving licence, be physically fit, and able to work on their own initiative to the specified job description.
Experience in the following is preferred however relevant training can be provided to the right candidate:
- Towing trailers
- Use of ride-on and self-propelled mowers
- Application and safe storage of herbicides and fungicides and maintaining up to date records.
- Operating mini-excavators and other plant machinery.
- Grave digging using hand and mechanical diggers.
