Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Chase Terrace Academy

Position:                     Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Start Date:                 As soon as possible

Contract Type:         Permanent

Hours:                         Full time working 37 hours per week, 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 15:30 on Fridays. Working term time, 39.2 weeks per year.  

Pay:                            Grade 3:                   SCP 3

Full time salary:        £18,562 per year Pro-rata salary: £16,049 per year (based on under 5 years’ service, 45.08 paid weeks)

Line Manager:          Assistant Headteacher (SENCo)

Chase Terrace Academy is seeking to appoint two full-time Level 2 Teaching Assistant with immediate effect. The successful applicant will support our high need students directly and under the direct instruction of teaching staff, usually in the classroom and provide general support to the teacher in the care of students and management of the classroom.
