Job Details

Woodsetton School is a warm and friendly school for primary age pupils with moderate and complex cognition and learning difficulties and/or speech, language and communication difficulties. Pupils often join us with a wide range of different needs, and bring a wonderful mix of interests and personalities to our school.

We aim to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children and adults feel safe and valued, and are actively encouraged and supported to achieve the very best they can.

Location: Woodsetton School

Position: Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Contract: 32.5 hrs/week / fixed term contract (until August 2022)

Salary: Grade 3

Start Date: ASAP

The Governors are looking to appoint two outstanding teaching assistants who are caring, highly motivated and passionate about making a difference and helping to improve the learning opportunities for our children

We are looking for someone who:

- is a highly effective team player (ideally with experience of working with SEN children)

- enjoys supporting children and strives for excellence and enjoyment

- actively supports teaching staff to raise standards

- believes that every child should be given the opportunity to reach their true potential

- is committed to the safety and well being of all pupils

- has excellent interpersonal, organisation, communication and time management skills

- will adhere to and support whole school policies and practices
