Attendant Driver  -  

Salary:  £19,698 - £20,903 per annum (pro rata),

 4 x 15 Hours per week –Permanent positions

The countywide specialist day opportunity team supports adults with complex learning disability and autism. The advertised roles will support customers to access our ‘soon to be opened’ service in Braeburn Close Lichfield. The service is due to open in April 2022.  We are looking to appoint 4 applicants; each person will require a D1 status on their licence. They will drive adapted vehicles collecting or returning customer’s home.

The successful post holders will also assist with personal care and supporting sessions.  We pride ourselves in offering a person-centred service that promotes the wellbeing of our customers. You will be expected to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Induction, regular supervision and ongoing training is available.

A successful candidate prior to April commencement will work at our either our Tamworth or Boney Hay site.

This position will have access to the Public Sector Network, to meet government security standards we will request a basic criminal convictions certificate and other background checks prior to appointment for the successful candidate

This role will be working in or visiting a CQC registered care home. Anyone working in a CQC-registered care home in England for residents requiring nursing or personal care must have a complete course of an authorised COVID vaccine unless they have a medical exemption. Candidates will be required to show evidence of their vaccination status or medical exemption at interview.
