Job Details
Do you want to make a difference to the lives of our city’s residents? Will you share our passion to deliver excellence in our communities? If so, we have an amazing opportunity in our Click Start team.
The Click Start project is fully funded through Building Better Opportunities, a joint European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund programme running across the Black Country. You will be based within Wolverhampton and employed by Wolverhampton Homes.
The successful candidate will be delivering training and coaching to participants aimed at increasing their digital and financial inclusion.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in teaching or coaching; is good with people; has a lot of patience and empathy; and has an ability to tutor a range of different people and their needs. They will be good working in a team and also very self-reliant.
A general understanding of the benefits system – Universal Credit in particular – would also be beneficial, but is not essential, as the project is focused on ‘digital and financial inclusion’. This is because the people we work with for the most part are living on low incomes and often claim various benefits.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the local community. If you know of any potential applicants who may be interested, please pass on these details.
For an informal chat, please contact Harrison Mail on 07976 681660 or Michelle Washington on 07811 010565.
