Apprentice Early Years Practitioner Level 2, ref TV66621

We are currently seeking a Level 2 apprentice to train as an Early Years Practitioner in our school. 
This post will be Monday to Friday, term time only (32 hours per week) plus 5 training days from approximately, 8.15 – 3.15pm each day (30 mins lunch). The apprenticeship period will be for 15 months.

• Have good communication skills – spoken and written
• Be able to follow safeguarding and child protection procedures including the ability to handle confidential information
• Have an understanding of and commitment to the equal opportunities policy

Qualifications:

GCSE English and Mathematics Grade A-C or equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills (though not essential, if you do not currently have these, you will be required to undertake Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths as part of this apprenticeship).

Salary:

£4.30 per hour (if over 19 this would be for the first year only then NMW for age rates as follows)

25 and over - £8.91/hour
21 to 24 - £8.22/hour
18 to 20 - £6.56/hour
