Job Details

Secondment Opportunity for 6 months (with an option to extend by a further 6 months) due to project work.  Interested candidates must obtain their line managers permission before submitting an application.

A Project Manager is required for a 6-month secondment to lead in the in the review/redesign and implementation of processes and procedures for a Manual Handling Project within Adult Social Care.

Applicants should possess an in-depth understanding of legislation, guidance and the underlying concepts and principles relating to Manual Handling and to the developing regional and national agenda, focussing on delivering care and support with a more individual and dignified approach. You will need to keep abreast of current trends and developments in all relevant areas concerning commissioning, legislation and Central Government guidance.

A minimum 3-year experience of working in Adult Social care and/or Health is required. A minimum of 1-year experience of a project management or redesign environment is required. Experience in the development and implementation of policy and procedures, and in change management and delivering project redesign is essential.

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have Occupational Therapy experience alongside supervisory and project leadership skills.  

You will also be required to undertake a Basic Disclosure and Barring Check.
