Full-Time/Part-Time: 35 hours per week 
Location: Worcester
Temporary, Fixed Term Contract: 6 months 


The role: 

Worcestershire County Council has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and numerate person to join the Management Information Analytics and Research Team and support the work of the council as a Management Information Assistant.

This will be a varied role, where the successful candidate will provide management information support to inform decisions on the design and delivery of council services, including the response to and recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.

The successful candidate will have experience of producing management information and performance reports, using computer systems and software and presenting results to a range of audiences.

Proactive and independent, it is essential that you can demonstrate an ability to manipulate and interpret data and that you are able to organise, extract and present information to both operational and strategic audiences.

You must be able to work effectively with staff at a variety of levels, inside and outside the organisation. Your IT skills will be excellent, and you will be able to work in a structured way without supervision to meet deadlines. You will be highly motivated and keen to develop your own skills, knowledge and techniques as required.
