Q3 Academy Langley opened its doors in September 2016, becoming the first brand-new secondary education provider in Sandwell in a decade. We are looking to add to our fantastic team of dedicated, hard-working colleagues, who contribute to a wonderful culture of work.

Due to the expansion of our current site and increase in our Year 7 pupil intake we are looking for multiple people who are dedicated, hard-working and will add value to our already exceptional team.

You will be expected to provide one to one support to students and work both in class and in small groups with students who have Education, Health and Care Plans and varying special needs.

At Q3 Academy Langley, we have the absolute highest expectations of behaviour and politeness from our students, and have several procedures that support and reinforce these ideals.

If you enjoy supporting the pastoral and academic development of students in a variety of teaching and learning situations we want to hear from you.

We seek applications from candidates who are:

  • Able to creatively develop flexible and innovative ways of providing support to ensure effective provision of SEN;
  • Confident about working with groups of students and providing a disciplined work environment;
  • Committed to making a difference to the lives of our young people, to raising standards, expectations and achievement;
  • A successful team player able to motivate and communicate;
  • Looking for a post offering variety, challenge and excellent opportunities for professional development.

Previous applicants need not apply; this is in addition to previous role advertised.

If you would like to apply for this post, please download the attached application form, job description and person specification below.

Completed application forms should be returned to Kate Hutton (HR Administration Assistant) by email to khutton@q3langley.org.uk or by post FAO: Kate Hutton, Q3 Academy Langley, Moat Road, Oldbury, B68 8ED (please allow time for postage in line with the closing date of the post)

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak English fluently is an essential requirement for this role.

We regret we cannot contact everyone who is not selected for an interview, therefore if you do not hear from us within 28 days after submitting your application, please assume you have not been successful on this occasion.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  The post will be subject to an enhanced Disclosing & Barring Service Check (DBS), satisfactory employment references, identification and qualification checks, which will be required prior to commencing duties to establish the suitability of the candidate.
