Head teacher - Dove Bank Primary School
Salary: L8 – L21 (£50,151) – (£68,347)
To commence September 2022
Current Number on Roll: 189 pupils
Due to the retirement of our current Head teacher, the Governing Body are seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious leader who has the skills to build on the many strengths of this successful school. The School’s current Ofsted judgement is ’Good’ (November 2017)
In 2018 and 2019 published Staffordshire Schools League Tables placed Dove Bank Primary School within the top 30%.
We are looking for an inspirational leader who:
- is dynamic and has experience as a Head teacher or is a well-established senior leader with whole school responsibilities
- is an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to model and lead improvement in teaching and learning
- has a proven track record of successful teaching and leadership
- seeks to continuously develop a broad curriculum, which excites our children and delivers high standards
- has high expectations for the achievement of every child and member of staff;
- has excellent communication and interpersonal skills within the school and the wider community and can inspire staff and students
