This post is fixed-term for 12 months due to project work

A Project Support Officer is required for a 12-month fixed term contract to assist the Financial Services Manager and the Project Managers by providing project support to Adult Social Care in the delivery of projects and services which will include Direct Payments and Appointeeship.

The post holder will be required to:

  • produce accurate and time critical documents, including spreadsheets, reports, operational procedures and correspondence using relevant IT skills as required.
  • Undertake research and analyse best practice and existing procedures for the relevant services documenting and assisting to identify new ways of working in an efficient and effective way.
  • Assist with research of literature and review with a view to revising and implementing improved practice.

Applicants should possess an in-depth understanding of legislation, guidance and the underlying concepts and principles relating to the service area. A minimum 1-year experience of working in a project management or redesign environment is required. Experience in project working and delivering project redesign is essential. You must be educated to degree level in a relevant subject or relevant practical experience along with a qualification at Level 4. An understanding of Direct Payments would be advantageous.

You will also be required to undertake a Basic Disclosure Check.

37 hours per week
