In order to help our students achieve their academic potential, we are looking to appoint an Academic Mentor to provide 1-2-1 or small group support for a range of targeted students primarily in Key Stage 4. This position has arisen out of the need to provide additional, targeted support for our young people who may have fallen behind in the past few months due to lockdown. Core subjects of English Language, English Literature and Mathematics will be the primary focus, with other curriculum subjects also being a focus dependent on the selected students.

There is the provision for one Academic Mentor to work specifically with targeted SEND students and to work closely with our Success Centre inclusion team. If you wish to be considered for this please make it clear in your cover letter/personal statement section of the application.
