We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Site Assistant to join our team at King Edward VI Balaam

Wood Academy. It is an exciting time to join our academy as we are an established part of the King Edward VI Academy Trust Birmingham.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will support the Estates and Facilities Manager in contributing towards providing an effective and efficient site support service that will continue to enhance the teaching and learning environment at our academy. As a member of the site maintenance team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, safety and security of the school site, ensuring that it is well-maintained and safe and secure

for all its users. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate commitment to the role, have the ability to uphold the academy values and be able to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and pupils. In return, you will join part of a supportive and welcoming community where staff development and collaborative working opportunities are available across the Academy Trust. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to

speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
