Project Manager for Education provision

Are you a natural organiser able to coordinate and manage change projects and reviews?  Do you have an interest in Education and the delivery of education provision in Worcestershire for the most vulnerable children and young people with Special Educational Needs and / or Disabilities (SEND)?

The Education Sufficiency and Place Planning team in Worcestershire Children First, are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead on the Specialist reviews of education provision, as well as school organisational changes and supporting the sufficiency work across all areas of education.  This is a key role in driving forward the provision element of the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Strategy. 

You will be required to work closely with colleagues in the SEND Service and partners, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and ensuring effective project delivery.  You will need to be self-reliant, able to work to tight and changing timelines, have excellent communication and negotiation skills.  Strong interpersonal skills are critical to motivate and lead a project team.  Experience of project management methodologies, and able to think innovatively to achieve the best outcomes for children, young people and families of Worcestershire are also critical.

What we can offer you:

• Temporary fixed term secondment, 35 hours per week, up to March 2023
• Salary scale PO1 £30,492 - £32,851
• Flexible and mobile working arrangements
