We are recruiting a Project Support Officer to support the Programme and Project Team in the successful delivery of ICT programmes and projects and to ensure Walsall Council continues to have an ICT infrastructure fit for the future.
Working as a key member of the ICT Programme Management Office, you will support the team to deliver successful design, planning and delivery of council wide technology change projects including management of business case and project initiation and management to achieve benefit realisation including efficiencies and savings.
As part of this role, you will:
- Assist with the development of project plans, including capture and tracking of data
- Assist with the capture and review of risks, issues, outcomes and benefits.
- Provide support to and assist with the delivery of small to medium sized ICT projects in accordance with best practice methodology.
