The Role

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil with a specific ASD need, to help her access and engage with varied learning opportunities.

We are looking for someone who is:
An effective team player
Adaptable, creative and enthusiastic 
Highly motivated and committed to giving the best to every child 
Willing to be involved in the life of the school
Able to respect matters of confidentiality

Fixed-Term End Date: 25/07/2023

Key Requirements

The role will be full time and requires the applicant to have an ability to relate with children enthusiastically, creatively and flexibly. To overcome barriers by relating learning to real life, whist trying to broaden experiences.

Key Requirements
Ideally this person will have had experience of working with children on the SEND register, preferably one to one. An awareness or experience of autism would be advantageous but not essential if the candidate is self-motivated to study specialist knowledge.
