As an outstanding school, we at Tividale Community Primary pride ourselves on having a vibrant and exciting school environment. We are looking to appoint a Site Manager who will share our vision to ensure that this environment is maintained and developed to meet the needs of our children and staff.

The Site Manager is a key post in our school and has responsibility for security, maintenance and cleanliness of the building and grounds which includes Forest School. The postholder will directly manage a team of four cleaning staff.

The Site Manager will also work closely with the School Business Manager to ensure that all aspects of health and safety legislation are adhered to in relation to buildings and grounds. You will need to be proficient in using WORD, Excel and email for this role to maintain records and liaise with contractors/maintenance companies.            

The working hours are 37 per week Monday to Friday on a split shift basis from 6.30am to 11.00am and then from 3.15pm to 6.15pm (6pm on Thursday/Friday). The Site Manager will also be required to occasionally close the school after 6.15pm when after school events and meetings are held.

Please note that this post is all year round and annual leave is to be taken in school holiday periods. The Site Manager will be required to work a number of weeks in the school holidays (including Summer) to ensure that larger projects and building maintenance can be undertaken.
