The Council are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to join our Housing Advice and Allocations team.

The candidate would need to demonstrate experience of delivering customer focused services, dealing with customer enquiries and be able to communicate effectively giving housing advice to those reporting to us as homeless.

The role involves:

  • Receiving and responding to applications from those reporting to the Council as homeless.
  • Completing initial assessments for those reporting as homeless.
  • Answering email and phone enquiries from customers
  • Providing housing advice to those seeking accommodation
  • Assisting Housing Options Officers in the processing of homeless applications

 
The role may involve both home working and working from the office.
