Job Details
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council’s Urban Design & Building Services team is looking to employ a permanent Principal Lead (Property Maintenance) You will be working alongside a creative, innovative, multi-disciplinary and self-motivated team of professionals (Architects, Landscape Architects, Structural Engineers, Property Surveyors, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and associated co-ordination staff).
You will manage a specialist team delivering all aspects of Property Repairs & Maintenance for a large multi-site organisation, working on different types of buildings with a broad range of requirements. Your role will involve interactive and collaborative working with our in-house teams, other local authorities, private sector consultants and delivery partners.
You will be required to provide the service on behalf of Urban Design & Building Services internal and external clients.

This vacancy is ideal for a suitably qualified person. The minimum requirement for this post is educated to degree level with 5 years significant demonstrable repairs and maintenance knowledge and experience. The minimum requirements are set out in the Job Description and Personal Specifications of the post.
