EXCITING OPPORTUNITY WITHIN A WELL ESTABLISHED CHILDCARE PROVISION IN AN ‘OUTSTANDING’ SCHOOL SETTING

An exciting new opportunity at our childcare provision has arisen as we look to recruit an enthusiastic Baby Room Leader on a permanent basis.  The Room Leader will be responsible for the day to day running of the baby room setting.

You must be NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent.  You will play an important role in training and developing staff by imparting knowledge and skills. You will be required to ensure the babies are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. You will also need to have a sound understanding of a young child’s developmental requirements and to provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet their all-round development.

The successful Baby Room Leader will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

We are particularly interested in a highly organised individual with lots of ideas and initiative who could work with the Childcare Manager to enhance the existing provision. You will also be responsible in leading and managing the Baby Room childcare assistants and will be the
Designated Safeguarding Lead for the baby room.

The hours required are between 7.30am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday as well as additional planning time.  You will need to have N.N.E.B, BTEC, NVQ level 3 or equivalent as well as a good knowledge of EYFS and experience working with babies.

The full job description and person specification is as attached.
We hope that you will consider applying for this excellent opportunity.

Cranmore School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Any appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and satisfactory references will be a requirement for the successful candidate.
Only successful applicants will be contacted after the closing date.
