Do you have a passion for working with people in an Adult Social Care or Health setting?
Sandwell MBC and South West Birmingham NHS Trust are working in partnership to provide short term reablement in a newly built integrated Social Care and Health Centre, opening in July 2022. The centre will be an 80 bedded reablement centre based on Harvest Road, Rowley Regis.
We are now recruiting to a variety of roles within both organisations.
This will be an exciting opportunity to work in a new purpose-built service supporting individuals to regain their skills and confidence so that they can return home.
In your role as a Domestic you will be responsible for ensuring the Integrated Centre is kept clean and tidy, and that areas requiring special attention are maintained to the necessary hygiene standards.
Your role will include:-
- Carrying out cleaning duties as specified in the establishment's cleaning schedule to ensure compliance with current legislation.
- To ensure that the cleanliness of the building is maintained at all times.
- Having basic health and safety and Infection Control knowledge.
- Ensure cleaning products are ordered and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health standards are always maintained.
- You must have a basic English and Maths qualification
You must have a willingness to take part in any training relevant to the role and the service area.

Hours Available
18.5 hours and 21 hours per week. Hours vary with earliest starting time 8.30am and latest finishing time 5.30pm. These will also include working weekends and bank holidays on a rota pattern.
Enhanced rates are included for weekend working and Bank Holidays.
