Permanent Class Teacher - starting date 01/09/2022
We are seeking to appoint a class teacher to join our amazing team; someone who is passionate about learning and teaching and is committed to promoting the education, development, safety and well-being of all children.
Marshlands School is a generic special school for children aged 5 - 11 years. Our pupils have a range of disabilities and associated learning difficulties.
The role will involve working with working pupils who have a variety of needs, supporting them with their personal needs, behaviour support and committed to raising all aspects of achievement.
We are offering the opportunity to work in a welcoming school with a committed, enthusiastic and highly dedicated staff team. Training and support will be offered to the successful candidate to ensure they are successful in their duties.
The successful applicant will:
Have Qualified Teacher Status;
Be an excellent classroom practitioner who will motivate and excite our children;
Be able to have the child at the centre of the learning environment;
Have experience of working with SEND pupils, ideally with experience with ASC, PMLD;
Be committed to working with parents and the community;
Be well motivated, resilient and have good organisational skills;
Work as a team member.
