St. Mary’s is a single form of entry primary school with a Nursery class which offers a Catholic education for primary aged pupils (3 to 11 year olds) living within the Parish of St Mary’s, Wednesbury and the surrounding area.  We also welcome families from other denominations and faith traditions who are willing to support the mission of our school,

i.e. "Our community, growing and learning together with Christ"

 

The Board of Governors is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working Learning Support Assistant to work under the overall supervision of the responsible teacher and assist and support teaching and learning. We want a dynamic individual to join our dedicated team. The role will start in May 2022, subject to clearances and notice periods.

 

We are looking for someone who will possess/demonstrate:

  • An excellent attendance record.
  • An enthusiastic attitude to working in a busy classroom environment.
  • A professional attitude to work.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills and a mastery of the spoken word.
  • An enjoyment of working with all children aged between 3 and 11.
  • Willingness to undertake training, as required.
