Being a Consultant Social Worker is an opportunity to progress your social work career. You will join a group of expert leaders delivering, prestigious, high-profile initiatives, and work with exceptionally talented individuals.
As a Consultant Social Worker, you will act in an expert role advising on practice issues in your specific expert area. You will educate and support social work colleagues as well as lead on practice research and development.
The role will require you to support social work teams across the county and across all areas of social work and support them to deliver effective excellent social work practice that enables adults in our communities to achieve their outcomes.
You will work in a strengths-based way, ensuring that you enhance social work practice in Staffordshire being resourceful and open in your approach. You will also promote social justice and human rights in line with core social work activities.
Based in Staffordshire County Councils Adult Social Care and Safeguarding Department reporting to the Practice Development Lead the Consultant Social Worker Educator will support in the creation and implementation of strategies to recruit, retain, and develop our Adult Social Care workforce.
