A new asset management strategy has been developed and the role will be key in how the Council improves the use and condition of its estate, rationalises and disposes of surplus assets, working in partnership with Council service teams and local stakeholders through leadership of the One Public Estate programme. The Council is also making a significant investment in capital projects including a future new build schools programme of over £100m.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, innovative and can build and develop positive relationships. Professional experience and expertise are important along with leadership skills, drive, resilience, and the ability to get things done.
