Would you like to work in a Primary School committed to the wellbeing of its pupils and staff?

JOB OVERVIEW
The position is term time only plus five INSET Days and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.  Ideally, the working hours will be 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.

The role will include, but is not limited to:
• supporting children at breaks and lunchtimes
• supporting the SEMH needs of children through varying means (i.e. boomerang, time to talk - training will be given as necessary)
• leading 1:1 and small group activities aimed at improving social interaction and emotional well-being
• liaising with parents and external agencies as necessary
• working as a DSL alongside other DSL's (training will be given as necessary)

• Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils
• Work with the Headteacher and leadership team, to implement the strategic vision for primary education so that they ensure excellence
• Have a willingness to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours of Goodyers End Primary School
• Relate positively to and show respect for all members of the school and wider community
