An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and customer focused people to join our Connect Customer Services Contact Team.

The Connect Customer Services Contact Team performs a key role in enabling Solihull Council to deliver on its promise to improve lives by delivering great services to the residents of Solihull.

People are at the heart of everything we do, and your role as a Customer Service Assistant / Connect Host will be to ensure that every individual you interact with enjoys a great customer experience. You will provide a welcoming and efficient front-of-house meet and greet for customers, assisting with general queries and supporting customers to use on-line services and self-service computers and payment kiosks.

With experience of providing excellent customer service, you will be:

  • able to demonstrate effective literacy and numeracy skills
  • customer-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • confident using on-line services and application forms, email, the internet search engines and web based applications.
  • a team player with a flexible approach to work

This role will predomintently be based at our Connect offices in The Core, Central Solihull, however flexibility will be required in order to fulfil the needs of the service. You may, on occasion be asked to work from other Connect offices in Chelmsley Wood to cover team absence.
