An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious leader to play a pivotal role in contributing innovative ideas and solutions to challenge barriers to learning as part of a new leadership team. The DoWMAT Board of Directors and the Local Academy Board for Netherton CE Primary School have recently appointed a new Headteacher for September 2022 and are now looking for an enthusiastic and creative Deputy Headteacher to work collaboratively and be part of a bright future for this lovely, caring school.

The successful candidate for this permanent Deputy Headteacher role will be someone who has the highest aspirations for children’s learning and family engagement. Ideally, we are looking for someone with proven leadership experience of at least 3 years, with high impact on teaching and learning across the Primary age range.
Our new Deputy will be an experienced school leader, looking to take the next step up into a Deputy Headteacher role; or someone who currently holds a similar role, and is looking for their next challenge. This person will have expert knowledge of the National Curriculum at Primary level and will have a proven track record of whole school improvement, and of coaching and mentoring other teachers in order to improve and refine teaching practice. Netherton CE Primary School is part of the Diocese of Worcester Multi Academy Trust and there is potential in this role for the successful candidate to lead on a core area across our 15 academies.
