The Role
If you like getting your teeth into complicated things, how about becoming a Pension Administrator within the Worcestershire Pension Fund?
The Worcestershire Pension Fund administers the Local Government Pension Scheme on behalf of approximately 200 employers and 62,000 members. Developing LGPS experience and expertise could be your ticket to a wealth of opportunities: the LGPS is one of the largest pension schemes in the world and its 87 separate, geographically organised LGPS funds across England & Wales manage pensions for 15,700 employers and 5.9m members, with assets under management of £291bn.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised and able to prioritise workloads, has excellent mathematical skills, and enjoys working in a busy team and meeting challenging deadlines.
You will be responsible for a varied workload, providing information to employees, updating the pensions administration system, liaising with scheme employers, and calculating benefits.
The role offers you membership of the LGPS.
