Sports Coach - Wednesbury Oak Academy

Wednesbury Oak Academy are seeking to appoint a highly dedicated, friendly and efficient Sports Coach to join our team. Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given. This is a great opportunity to work with forward thinking staff and be part of a passionate enthusiastic team who consistently thrive for the best outcomes for our pupils.  

The successful candidate will have a relevant National Governing Body Coaching Qualification to a minimum of level 1 or 2 or equivalent and GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above or equivalent.  They will also have experience of working with children.

Main responsibilities – 

• the care and welfare of the pupil

• to have contact and form links with parents

• to liaise with the PE Lead and class teachers

• the post holder will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties and ensure that instructions specified are adhered to

• have proven ability to be able to converse positively

• be able to adopt a flexible approach to the post

• have a broad knowledge of Equal Opportunities

GRADE: Grade D, SCP 9-17 (£21,269 - £24,920 pa.) - Actual Salary £9,993 - £12,019 p.a.
