Information Access Offier
Following the re-structure of the Corporate Information Management Unit we have vacancies for two Information Access Officers.
The role will also include assistance in the application of information access procedures across the Council as well as monitoring and advising on information security incidents.

Hours: 35 hours per week
Reporting to the Information Access Manager, you will be required to co-ordinate and action information requests and provide advice in respect of the Freedom of Information Act, Data Protection Act and Environmental Information Regulations.
The successful candidate will have significant relevant experience of working in an information legislation, policy or records environment and considerable knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act, Environmental Information Regulations and other relevant legislation.
It is desirable that you are either qualified or working toward BSC qualification in Data Protection and/or Freedom of Information
