Financial Support Officer

Redditch Borough Council and Bromsgrove District Council

Grade 5 £23,483 to £25,926 per annum

1 Post full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Redditch Borough Council and Bromsgrove District Council are looking to fill a post in their busy shared service Financial Support Team.

The purpose of this role is to provide support, advice and identify opportunities to help customers improve their financial independence. You will be required to process Housing Benefits, Council Tax Support, Discretionary Housing Payments and Essential Living Fund Support claims.

We are looking for applicants who are customer focused, have good IT skills, GCSE’s in English and Mathematics and a willingness to learn and develop. Experience of using Civica Open Revenues as well as knowledge of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
