Part time teacher of Woodwind: Clarinet specialism (2 days per week)

Unqualified Salary: £19,340 - £30,172 pro rata

Qualified Salary: £28,000 - £38,810 pro rata

Contract offered under teachers’ terms and conditions of service with some locally agreed variations. Wolverhampton Music Service is an admitted body to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme.

Part time contract (2 days - 12.96 hours per week) adhering to the published school term dates - subject to an annual 20% variability clause.

Post is initially offered on a 12-month fixed term contract pending ongoing confirmation of the Music Education Hub Grant.

Enhanced DBS checks and Right to Work in the UK required.

As a vibrant and diverse Local Authority Music Service, Wolverhampton is seeking to recruit a woodwind teacher (clarinet specialism) to help deliver the Wolverhampton Music Education Hub's core roles. We are looking for an experienced clarinettist to led on clarinet teaching within the Music Service ensuring that existing teaching is supported and developed through Whole Class Instrumental Teaching (WCIT), small group instrumental tuition, ensemble leadership and various other forms of workshop delivery.

The Ideal candidate will be able provide tuition for a range of instruments within the woodwind family. Applications are also welcome from candidates who can teach across more than one instrument family (e.g clarinet and guitar).
