South Staffordshire Council (voted UK Council of the Year at the Public Sector Transformation Awards) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Electoral team.

We are looking for a candidate who is motivated, enthusiastic and well organised. A willingness to go that extra mile to meet tight deadlines is key for this role. You will also have clear verbal and written communication skills, and work with a high degree of accuracy. The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative is also an essential attribute.

The ideal candidate for the Post would ideally have experience in electoral administration while also having a keen interest in developing a career in elections and increase their professional skills. Good knowledge of Individual Electoral Registration and knowing the basics of administering an election is vital for this role.

During peak periods you will be able to work significant additional hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet demanding deadlines.
