Senior Horticulturist / Charge Hand – Tractor Driver

We are looking for an experienced Senior Horticulturist / Charge Hand – Tractor Driver to work within our grounds maintenance team based at King George V Park in Wordsley.

Salary:  Grade 6

Hours of work: Annualised Hours (Summer 43 per week & Winter 30 per week)

The successful applicant will have experience of carrying out general and skilled horticultural and grounds maintenance duties, including digging, forking, hoeing, weeding, grass edging, planting, pruning, hedge cutting and mulching operations. You will be able to use ride on equipment, operate vehicles up to 5 tonnes, including towing trailers & chippers etc. and use tractors and associated horticultural based implements. In addition the successful applicant will carry out on site supervision of any staff allocated to them.

All applicants must hold a current driving licence with Category C1+E or equivalent or hold a licence issued on or before 31.12.96.
