Job Details
This is a fixed term role until April 2023.
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council’s Urban Design & Building Services team is looking to employ a Surveying Graduate (Building Measurement). You will be working alongside a creative, innovative, multi-disciplinary and self-motivated team of professionals (Architects, Landscape Architects, Structural Engineers, Property Surveyors, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and associated co-ordination staff).
Your role will include the undertaking of full and partial measurement surveys of operational and non-operational buildings in accordance with the RICS Code of Measurement Practice 2018. The preparation of fully annotated floor plans using CAD based software to include calculation of Net and Gross Internal Areas to support the Council’s Asset Management programme.

This vacancy is ideal for a suitably qualified person. The minimum requirement for this post is educated to level 3 or equivalent along with proven experience in property surveying and measurement together with plan production.
