CATERING ASSISTANT REQUIRED 15 HOURS PER WEEK, 3 HOURS PER DAY, TERM TIME ONLY
SEPTEMBER 2022 START

At Sherbourne Fields, we have a caring and supportive ethos and our pupils and staff are well motivated and respected. We provide high quality education to children and young people with a range of complex special educational needs. As an ‘Outstanding’ school expect our food to be outstanding too!!
We are looking to recruit a hardworking, practical and reliable Catering Assistant to work as part of our catering team, within our busy kitchen operation.
We currently serve meals to approximately 75 students per day; these include meals for students with special dietary requirements.
As a Catering Assistant, you are expected to undertake the following tasks:
• General kitchen cleaning/washing up
• Basic food preparation
• Organisation of service trolley’s
• Distribution of meals
• Stock rotation
As part of your training, you will be required to undertake a Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) as well as a Health and Safety Induction.
