Responsible to: The Site Manager

This is a part time, term time only position, with the opportunity for a job share, AM or PM shift pattern.

Term time only (38 weeks per year) plus 5 days, to be worked in late August, prior to the school reopening after the summer holidays.

Salary: NJC Grade C, spinal point 05 | Full time equivalent £19,650 per annum.

Full post: currently £15,863.28 per annum, and local government pension scheme.

Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 4:45am to 8:45am and 3:45pm to 6:45pm

Job Share AM shift: £6,798.55 per annum, and local government pension scheme.

Hours: 15 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 5am to 8am

Job Share PM shift: £9,064.73per annum, and local government pension scheme.

Hours: 20 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 3:45pm to 7:45pm

Working weeks: 39 weeks a year | Term time (38 weeks) plus 5 days in school holidays (last 5 days of the school summer holidays) | 44.5 paid weeks per year.

We are seeking to appoint a Cleaning Supervisor to act as a keyholder responsible for the security of the premises, and to supervise an established team of cleaners on a day-to-day basis, working under the management of the Site Manager. The successful applicant will also be responsible for performing cleaning duties within their own allocated area, as well as assisting the rest of the team to provide cover for any absent team members. 

Applicants must be reliable, motivated, and able to manage a team of cleaners to ensure high standards of cleaning are achieved throughout the school.
