We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, knowledgeable manager to lead our successful pre-school. Bawnmore Cygnets is a twenty-four-place setting managed by Bawnmore Community Infant School, offering spaces to pupils following their third birthday. We have a long-standing positive reputation and are well respected within the Rugby area, which means that we always have a waiting list for pre-school places. In April 2020 we joined with Bilton Infant School and Bilton C of E Junior School to form the Bilton Community Federation. We work collaboratively together to offer the best primary education possible for our shared families.
We can offer you:
• a hardworking and supportive staff team working collaboratively across FS1 and 2
• pupils who enjoy pre-school and love to learn
• a warm, friendly working environment
Current sessions run from 9 a.m. to either 12 or 3 p.m. Monday to Friday with 24 places offered in the morning and 16 places in the afternoon.
Contracted hours – 7.45 a.m. to 3.45 p.m. Monday to Friday
The Pre-School Manager will demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver the highest standards of nursery care. Their personal values should be totally in tune with the ethos of the school community.
Key requirements – GCSE or equivalent in Literacy and Numeracy. Hold minimum national standard NVQ 3 or equivalent. Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a nursery environment. Experience of leading other staff.
